IRE Product of the Week: Trufast Thermal-Grip TubeSeal Fastener

The Thermal-Grip TubeSeal fastener from Trufast is designed to help seal blind fastener penetrations of WRB and air barrier when mechanically attaching continuous insulation. It is available in lengths for insulation nominal thickness from 1 inch to 4 inches, in half-inch increments. In addition to securely attaching insulation, it helps seal blind fastener penetrations of a WRB and/or air barrier, says the company. Its UV-resistant, semi-rigid tube construction is suitable for all weather climates. It is available pre-assembled with various Trufast Grip-Deck screws, including self-drilling or HiLo thread with various washers for insulation or lath.
