The Pool & Spa Show, hosted by the Northeast Spa and Pool Association, was held Jan. 25-27 at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

For 41 years, this show has been created for pool and spa professionals by pool and spa professionals, organizers said. For over 60 years, NESPA has supported the industry through education, advocacy and creating connections that build up businesses.

The show saw the return of live, in-person training, with sessions from GENESISWatershape University and more, as well as industry certification courses.

Show floor hours were expanded, and education was offered during the morning and afternoon—with attendees able to choose their own seats.

The Training Wall (aisle 3900) had three full days of interactive demonstrations.

"We have spent the last year launching some exciting new platform technology products as well as making strategic acquisitions for the SmartPad system," said Matt Kimball, VP of Product Management and Marketing at Hayward. "These products and technologies allow pool owners to maximize their backyard experience while at the same time minimize their energy, water and chemical consumption."

The Connection Garden (aisle 3900) allowed attendees to meet industry leaders and network.

The Welcome Party was held at the Saloon Bar at the Wild Wild West (Bally’s Casino).

Organizers offered an Experience Pass, which provided full access to technical and business passes, exclusive access to show floor training, the Welcome Party, a new VIP reception, and other VIP treatment on the show floor. It also allowed access for 30-days to an on-demand online experience featuring content from show partners and speakers, according to organizers. On-demand content includes meet-ups with industry experts, deeper dives on both business and technical topics, resource guides, worksheets and more, organizers said.

“We had a fantastic time exhibiting at The Pool & Spa Show," said Jamie Smith, head of retail at Superior Wellness. "After visiting the PSP/Deck Expo in November 2021, we were excited to return to America for this show. Our goal is to expand our global reach to become the leading supplier of hot tubs while maintaining our exceptional customer service levels.

“Atlantic City has been another memorable trip and an incredible team effort from everyone at Superior Wellness," Smith continued. "We look forward to growing our partner network across America and we are confident our attendance at The Pool & Spa Show will positively impact our growth in this area.”

Award winners included: Kyle Chaikin (2022 Paulette Pitrak Volunteer Recognition Award) and AquaStar Pool Products (Best Booth).
