Coretex, a provider of cloud-based fleet management solutions, has launched CoreHub, which provides visibility for ready-mix trucks from batching plant to jobsite.

CoreHub connects an in-vehicle IoT (internet of Things) with sensors monitoring drum rotation, hydraulic temperature, and water add meter, as well as cameras throughout the vehicle, to provide a full view of what is happening with the load. At any point in time, you can see how many concrete mixer trucks are ticketed, en route to or from a job, waiting at the site, and pouring.

The sensors install in just three to four minutes; re-installation onto new equipment is simple. Fleet managers can monitor data via an app on their smartphone.

By bringing all vehicles and assets onto one platform, fleet managers can leverage data and predictive analytics to improve quality control and concrete load integrity, manage maintenance, and monitor supply chain and delivery.
