William Paddock is the founder & managing director of WAP Sustainability, a leading provider of sustainability, LCA, and EPD, ESG services for the concrete, building, and infrastructure markets. At WAP Sustainability, William works across the concrete value chain to help producers demonstrate the low carbon performance of their products while assisting contractors in identifying and meeting embodied carbon requirements in specifications, and finally helping project owners and developers author + request thoughtful specification and project language.

Paddock is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a B.S. in Environmental Science and holds a MBA from The Institute for Sustainable Practice at Lipscomb University, where he is now an Adjunct Professor. Paddock serves as a Board Member of the Carbon Leadership Forum (CLF) and works closely with state and federal agencies on the Federal Buy Clean Act, the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), and other regulatory programs designed to decarbonize the building and infrastructure projects. He is the past chair of the USGBC LEED Materials and Resource Technical Advisory Group and an advisor to the ICC/ASHRAE Decarbonization Task Force.
