Mark A. Cheek, FACI, is president of MAC Engineering. Mark has more than 34 years of experience in the construction industry, including construction materials testing and inspection and geotechnical and civil engineering. His professional work focuses on concrete materials evaluation and construction troubleshooting.

Previously, Mark was the Vice President of The Beta Group, Engineering and Construction Services in Gretna, LA. He is an active member of ACI International, named a Fellow of the institute in 2006. Mark is a member of ASTM International Committee C09, Concrete and Concrete Aggregates, and the American Society of Civil Engineers. He is also an examiner for the National Ready Mixed Concrete Association.

He received his BS in civil engineering from the University of New Orleans and is a registered Professional Engineer in Louisiana and Mississippi.
