The World of Concrete has announced the winners of the 2024 Innovative Product Awards in the People’s Choice and Experts’ Choice categories. The products and services were selected by concrete and masonry professionals and a panel of industry experts.

The Innovative Product Awards is an industry recognition program that "celebrates the most successful construction community members and their innovations in concrete," according to the World of Concrete, the industry's biggest annual tradeshow.

"We would like to thank all the companies that took part in the Innovative Product Awards program this year and to those that voted. It is important for the industry to honor the products and services that are pushing the limits of the concrete sector,” said Jackie James, vice president of World of Concrete. “Congratulations to the 2024 Innovative Product Award winners!” 

People's Choice Winners

The People’s Choice Award is presented to one winner in each program category. Thousands of industry professionals at the World of Concrete and from the WOC360 newsletter audience voted on the products and services entered in the program. Voting opened in early January and ended on Feb. 9.

Experts' Choice Winners

The Experts’ Choice award winners were selected by a panel of World of Concrete editors and industry experts. The winners stood out from the competition in their ability to aid performance and competence and become a new industry standard in the field. The experts recognized the winning products in this category by naming them either a sustainable or a disruptive innovation.

Sustainable innovations incrementally improve an existing process or product. The innovation alters how contractors and producers can deliver productivity or increase safety or engineering efficiency in real time.

Disruptive innovations sweep away old systems or habits and replace them with attributes that recognizably make the product or process easier, safer and more productive. Their introduction or acceptance requires a little longer view of the future, often facilitating other innovations when brought to the field.
