SRS Distribution Inc. was named in the top 80 of the 2021 Forbes’ Largest Private Companies List. 

Forbes’ annual ranking of America’s largest private companies recognizes 225 U.S.-based firms with annual revenues over $2 billion, excluding foreign companies which do not pay income tax, mutually owned companies, and companies that are more than 50% owned by another public, private, or non-US company.

“Our success at SRS stems from the caliber of our employees and the effort they devote to taking care of our customers,” said Dan Tinker, SRS president and CEO. “We have seen incredible growth in the last year by supporting our customer’s growth, and look forward to continuing to expand and serve our three great industries in 2022.”

SRS Distribution reached $5.4 billion in revenue by the fiscal year-end in October 2021, earning the company the 80th spot of 225 qualifying companies.

SRS Distribution was also featured on the Forbes Best Mid-Sized Employers list in February of 2021. 

Based on employee ratings, this list was compiled by market research firm Statista by surveying 50,000 Americans working for businesses with at least 1,000 employees. 

Participants rated their willingness to recommend their own employers to friends and family. 

The best Mid-Sized Employees List includes the top 500 midsized employers that received the most recommendations, of which SRS ranked 101.
