Vibratory Truss Screed
MBW, Inc.

Vibratory truss screeds can help you finish a big job quickly. MBW says its Blitzscreed vibratory truss screeds are state-of-the-art and can be set up and cleaned in half the time of competing products.

The machines are available in engine-driven or pneumatic models, with hand- or hydraulic-winch options available on the mechanical models.

While other competitive products, like the Morrison Standard Vibratory Screed, offer similar options, MBW claims uniqueness with its exclusive A-frame design, an aluminum cast that the company says provides a high level of structural strength.

Another unique feature of the Blitzscreed is its exclusive rigid/fixed eccentric shaft. The shaft provides centrifugal force and uniform vibration along the screed without a hammering action.

The Blitzscreed models offer up to 8,000 vibrations per minute. Other truss screeds, like the SE12 from Allen Engineering, can reach 10,000 vpm, which puts the Blitzscreed’s range of 8,000 vpm in the ballpark of what’s expected from similar products.

The Blitzscreed also features blind nuts, which can keep concrete and dirt off bolt threads and prevent stripping of bolts. Its air-powered screed is protected by the product’s A-frame design and comes with an optional regulator and lubricator.
