Luckily, the Portland Cement Association (PCA) has offered some helpful reminders of factors to consider when placing concrete in hot weather.

According to the PCA, if the temperature at the time of concrete placement exceeds 77 degrees, a plan should be enacted to offset the impacts of high temperatures on the concrete.
