NAHB Chairman Details Lumber 'Victories'

In his August Chairman’s Update, NAHB Chairman Chuck Fowke spoke about recent victories NAHB achieved in the lumber and supply chain arena. 

Importantly, the organization pointed out, NAHB was part of a White House supply chain summit, featuring administration officials including Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo, HUD Secretary Marcia Fudge, Assistant to the President and Director of the National Economic Council Brian Deese, Assistant to the President and Director of the Domestic Policy Council Ambassador Susan Rice, and Chair of the Council of Economic Advisers Cecelia Rouse. 

The meeting provided a forum to discuss issues and possible solutions related to the supply chain, and specifically lumber, according to NAHB.
