The Associated Construction Distributors International, Inc. (ACDI), an association of leading independent construction material distribution companies, welcomes Alexander “Alex” Rapp as Executive Director in charge of all operations of the cooperative association. Alex will succeed Tom Goetz, who has provided guidance and leadership to the ACDI for the past 29 years and will be retiring December 31, 2020.

Alex is a Six Sigma Black Belt in lean business practices and brings a strong background in operations to the organization. Alex also brings experience in acquisitions, business management, and staff leadership to ACDI. He is familiar with ACDI and many of its members based on his experience working with HD Supply, A.H. Harris, and currently BMC.

ACDI President, Chad O’Donnell., said, “Our Transition Committee has done an outstanding job searching for, finding, and hiring Alex Rapp to lead our group. He is smart, educated and focused on the needs of the industry and the ACDI’s place in it. This search has been no easy task given the challenges of the Coronavirus.
